Janet was a devoted mother, wife, sister, sister in law, daughter, and friend to many in San Diego and Pittsburgh. She was the center, the "rock" of her own family. She was a principled thinker, often placing others ahead of herself, a strong personality but always very kind. "When I watch an old movie, take in another stray, visit the zoo, or hear a loud infectious laugh, I will remember Jan.
