lyde Nelson Smith passed away at his home in Santa Cruz at the age of 74 from complications from a stroke, with his wife, Linda by his side. 

  Clyde was born in Pittsburgh, PA to Donald C. and Audre M. Smith.  He graduated from Mount Lebanon High School in Pittsburgh, PA in 1962.  He attended Yuba City College and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

  Clyde and Linda were married in 1981 and lived in Sacramento until they moved to Santa Cruz in 1984. Clyde worked at Furniture Warehouse and Home Space in Soquel where he worked for over 25 years until his retirement in 2012.  Clyde's hobbies consisted of crossword puzzles and online b...

Lewis C. Kip Weldon was born on 11/4/1944 in Pittsburgh, PA



After graduating DePauw University in Indiana he went to California

and worked in the social work field. He stayed in California for several

years but then relocated to New York where he was a social worker for

a drug clinic in the Bronx and then at a nursing home. In 1974, he took a

job again in social work center in Queens, N.Y. He met his future wife

there: Aviva, who was a recreation and art therapist. They married in

1975 and lived in Brooklyn, N.Y. Their son, Daniel was born in 1980

followed by Julia in 1983.

Age 77, of Mt. Lebanon, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, November 4, 2021. Son of the late Karl and Frances (Doucette) Wentzel. Beloved brother of his five siblings Karol (Jerry), Karl (Jane), Ken (Heidi), Kit and Kathy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and his large extended family. Kurt was a dedicated coach and teacher to the hundreds of Mt. Lebanon athletes and Chartiers Valley students he coached and taught over the years. A proud graduate of Mt.
