Hi Class, You probably don't remember me, but I remember a lot of you. I took on the task of tracking down our missing classmates for our 50th reunion. Now we have a small number, relatively speaking, who we still would like to find. Several people that we did find had never heard from anyone in our class for the whole 50 years! Several came to our reunion for the 1st time ever. So its worth the effort to search!

My passion is genealogy. So I'm using those skills that I use to find ancestors, to find information for our missing and deceased. You may know something that seems insignificant about one of the names on the two lists. But if you know where a classmate lived (at any time), their parents names, siblings, spouses, children's names, college or even employer, that could be helpful to me. Please let me know what YOU KNOW. Even though the "50th" is over, I will continue to search as you pass information to me.

If you hear that we've lost a classmate, please get a death date and place for me. That way we can pay our condolences as a class and also I can find an opituary for our archives. My goal is to have a tribute of some sort for each of our deceased classmates.

Thanks in advance for your help. Check my profile for my contact information.

George-
I applaud your efforts in reminding all of us how much our parents sacrificed and what their lives were really like. (The music is great. If I couldn't have grown up in our generation with the roots of rock and roll, I would have been fine with our parents music!) When we were Mt.L. teenagers we, of course, knew everything, so none of this information was as important to us as, say, going to the Sadie Hawkins dance. ;-)
Now, with our teenage pomposity behind us, and as parents oursevles, we can truly appreciate how special our parents always have been. May they all rest in peace.

The Reunion Committee's excellent work highlights the great spirit of the Lebo '62 class. After all these years the memories are still vibrant, the friendships are still strong, and the skills we incubated on Cochran Road are still propelling us forward. It took me some years to realize that we were "born on third base", and it was wonderful to learn how many fellow grads are giving back to society in one way or another, even in retirement. At each reunion event it was fun to look around and recall the former appearance and accomplishments of so many who shared the classrooms and athletic fields in those heady days of yesteryear. Looking forward to seeing everyone in 2017, if all goes well!

What a wonderful reunion....The comittee really outdid themselves. Without their extreme outreach to get those that had never attended before would not have been as good.I really appreciate George and all his emails..makes me feel like i am really a part of the group. This will probably be my last reunion ane I was able to see alot of people I hadn't seen in 50 years. Thank you for all your hard work.

Hats off to the reunion committee. Well done in all aspects. The dinner/dance made for a lovely evening. The prgram was entertaining and the meal was delicious. The dancing took awhile to get going, but then it took off. Hope had a lovely, honoring dance with Bart--it was beautiful. The swing dancing was stunning. Now we need a sock hop because our dress shoes have rubber on the soles making iy hard to twist! The idea of having lunch will keep our friendships in tact and we shall grow old together.

Dear Reunion Committee, without all your hard work our class would not be the one other classes look up to. No one can touch our class for the best parties, get togethers and turn out do to all your great planning, time and effort. That is why we have so many folks return to each reunion.
Special thanks to George Watt and his infamous e-mails and all the hard work on the website.
My thanks to you all for making every five years, the event to look forward too!! Rick Toucey

What an absolutely fabulous reunion !!! The best yet !! So great to see so many classmates. We are definitely the best ever Mt. Lebanon has seen !! Thank you to the committeeand especially to George..you all did an excellent job. Whoever did the CD really out did themselves. My friends and family cannot believe we each got a CD w/ 60 songs...it's soooo fun. Thanks to all of you who came from near and far. What a super loving , funny, and grand bunch of kids we were and still are. My 3 grandchildren should be so lucky. Alex is a soph at Lebo, Nicole is in 7th at Jefferson and Brooke is a 3rd grader at Hoover. I pray they can celebrate a 50th like mine. Thank you guys and gals !

I too would like to thank the "Reunion Committee" for a spectacular job well done. Cliff and Bob Bennett gave eloquent testimonials that I would second. I would like to add that during the weekend, I was most impressed by the kindness and compassion of those in our class. It was so evident that the feeling of "giving a helping hand" and making the world a better place, even if just our little part, prevailed. i am so proud to be a part of this class and thanks again for a most special weekend.
