            Obituary for Elizabeth “Betsy” Scott   Elizabeth Ann Betsy Scott, 66, of Point Chautauqua, N.Y, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2010 at the Bradley Bay Health Center in Bay Village, OH. She was born March 30, 1944 in Pittsburgh, PA and raised in Mt. Lebanon, PA Betsy attended Penn Hall Academy in Chambersburg, PA and Robert Morris Business School in Pittsburgh. She was employed  as a Sales Representative with Mallet & Company of Pittsburgh. Having spent her summers at Chautauqua Lake in N.Y. she moved to Point Chautauqua permanently in 1985. She dearly loved the Chautauqua Lake community and was a member of the Point Chautauqua Historical Society and the Chautauqua Lake Association. Some of her favorite interests included gardening, genealogy and Point Chautauqua history. She was given the honorary title of Mayor of Point Chautauqua! Betsy also enjoyed her work at the Mar Mar Wine and Spirits Store in Dewittville.  Betsy is survived by her sister Jean (Frank) Schembs of Avon Lake, OH, a brother John (Susan) Scott of Clearwater, FL, nephews; Stephen Schembs of Washington, D.C, Keith (Polly) Schembs of Gig Harbor, WA, Kellen (Shannon) Scott of Safety Harbor, FL, a niece; Kristin (Rich) Feronti of Avon OH, great nephew; Richie Feronti of Avon OH, great nieces; Ella and Lucy Feronti of Avon, OH, Lauren and Morgan Schembs of Gig Harbor, WA. and Karina Scott of Safety Harbor, FL. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Jean McIiwain Scott. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 7, 2011, at noon at the Busch Funeral Home in Avon Lake, Ohio, followed by a reception lunch. Internment will be at Allegheny Cemetery in Pittsburgh, PA on January 8, 2011 In lieu of flowers a Memorial contribution may be forwarded to the Hospice of Chautauqua County, 20 W. Fairmount Ave, Lakewood, NY 14750 or to the Point Chautauqua Historical Society, P.O.
