Laurie, so long gone, but not forgotten.  We had a good time during our year out of college, picking up hitchhikers, visiting friends.  I saw your sons soon after you died; I wonder what great things they are doing now.

Laurie and I met when we both joined the rifle team and we remained friends throughout high school.  We had good times going to rifle matches- some of which seemed to be out in the middle of nowhere!  And we went to the winter sports banquet!  As I remember, rifle was the only team which allowed girls.  We practiced in the summer and I still have the NRA Hunter Safely Course card that I earned during the summer of 1959.  I spent many happy times at Laurie's house.  Laurie was a wonderful friend.

Laurie, your family was so great. Your mom was our scout leader and you looked so much like her. Your brother Andre was such a nice young man. Once you told me that since your family owned Sea Breeze that you even gargled with it! You were taken from us at too young of an age. But you were so nice to know!
