Kathleen A. Miller, 72, of Ligonier, formerly Kathie Adams, of Greensburg, died Monday, Feb. 13, 2017, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born May 23, 1944, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Harry T. and Coletta A. (Henkel) Williams. Prior to retirement, she had been data programmer for Westmoreland County, an instructor at Westmoreland County Community College and later worked for H and R Block for 25 years. She was a former member of St. Paul Parish, Greensburg, and former member of the Rosary Altar Society of the church. She was a member of the Fort Allen Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was an honors graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepdaughter, Helen Marie Bier-Park. She is survived by her husband, Richard C. Miller; four daughters, Loraine "Lori" Slonacher and husband, Jay, of Greensburg, Suzanne "Suzi" Adams, of Jeannette, Dianne "Dee" Alexander and husband, Donald, of Harrison City, and Carolyn "Cari" Fiore and husband, John, of Latrobe; her stepson, Richard C. Miller and girlfriend, Bobbi, of Fairfield; her stepdaughter, Deborah L. Hencel and husband, Michael, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; eight grandchildren, Michael D. Strazzera, Lauren B. Alexander, Meghan R. Alexander, Grant W. Alexander, Madelyn G. Alexander, Cole R. Fiore, Jacob L. Fiore and Luke H. Fiore; five step-grandchildren; 13 step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton St., Greensburg. A funeral Liturgy will begin at 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. Private interment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
