KURT WENTZEL
Age 77, of Mt. Lebanon, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, November 4, 2021. Son of the late Karl and Frances (Doucette) Wentzel. Beloved brother of his five siblings Karol (Jerry), Karl (Jane), Ken (Heidi), Kit and Kathy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and his large extended family. Kurt was a dedicated coach and teacher to the hundreds of Mt. Lebanon athletes and Chartiers Valley students he coached and taught over the years. A proud graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School and the University of Pittsburgh where he played on the football team. He loved to travel and spent much of his time traveling to tropical vacation areas around the world. When Kurt was not volunteering his time coaching, he enjoyed attending sporting events. Kurt enjoyed motorcycles and held a private pilots license and enjoyed flying.
