LINDA R.

Of Mt. Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 5, 2024, at the age of 80. Daughter of the late Dr. William A. and Dorothy Rote; beloved wife of David T. Arth; loving mother of Eric (Jessica) Arth, Christina (Scott) Verel, Rebecca Haldeman, and Brian (Jennifer) Arth; grandmother of Audrey, Caroline, Natalie, Zoe, Emily, Logan, Lila, Jocelyn, Jack and Ben; great-grandmother of Ezekiel, Elena and Archer; sister of Louise (Jack) Napor and Willa (the late Mitchell) Swenson. She is preceded in death by her beloved dog, Luther. Linda was born in San Antonio, TX, but spent most of her life in Mt. Lebanon, PA where she graduated high school in 1962. She went on to graduate from Otterbein University in 1966. Linda was an avid tennis player and lover of dogs. She enjoyed driving her Porsche and was a member of the Porsche Club of America. Friends will be received on Monday, July 8, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at LAUGHLIN CREMATION & FUNERAL TRIBUTES, 222 Washington Rd. Pittsburgh, PA 15216, where a Funeral Service will be held the following day, July 9, at 12 pm. Interment in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions suggested to Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3104 West Liberty Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15216.
